The Secret was invited to its first festival today. The world premiere will take place in Paris the second week of May, at Festival international des Très Courts - or The Internastional Festival for Very Short Films.

Experiment has been selected for the Short Shorts film festival in Japan. This is one of Asia's biggest short film festivals, and is being held in June.

Amor has been sold to NRK, the Norwegian National Broadcasting Channel, and will be shown ten times over the next four years.

The short film Sludd was shot from the 17th the 21st of February, with Qaiser Shah writing and directing, and Daniel Henriksbø producing. The cast consists of Kyrre Haugen Sydness, Birgitte Larsen and Rune Temte, amongst others.

The short film Pillows has been shot over two days, the 15th and 16th of February. The film is written and directed by Kevan Funk and Ken Tsui, who both came over from Canada to shoot the film. Daniel Henriksbø is producing, and the cast consists of Petronella Barker, Frank Kjosås and Per Frisch, amongst others.

Thomas Wangsmo, one of our directors, has received script development funding for the feature film project Without Mercy.

Experiment and Reunion were today selected for the Norwegian and Nordic competitions during Minimalen Short Film Festival in Trondheim in March.

Today Amor was invited to the European Film Festival of Lille in France, which is the ninth festival the film has been invited to.

Today Amor was invited to the Go Short Film Festival Nijmegen in Holland, the eighth festival for the film.

Tonight Thomas Wangsmo, one of our directors, was notified by the Berlin Film Festival that he has been chosen as one of eleven participants for the Talent Project Market during the Berlinale Talent Campus. There were 267 applicants for the programme, whom had hadde already been selected from 4700 applicants for the Talent Campus, so we are very happy about this. The Project Thomas will be presenting is a feature film he has been writing on for a long time, that had its humble beginning as a little idea about five years ago. It's called Without Mercy.

Eksperiment has been selected for the Film from the North programme at Tromsø International Film Festival in the end of January.

Amor has now also been invited to Leuven Film Festival in Belgium in the beginning of December. Nice, we're starting to like Belgium.

We won! Amor won the prize for Best European Short today at Ghent Film Festival, and with that it's also nominated for the Best Short Award during the European Film Academy Awards - our European version of the Oscars - in 2010.

Amor was today also invited to Berlin interfilm Film Festival in the first week of November. That's festival number six for the film.

25. SEPTEMBER 2009

Amor has now also been accepted to Nordische Filmtage in Lübeck first week of November, and Leeds International Film Festival in the middle of November. Looks like the festival train continues at full speed, which is obviously very fun.

The 35mm print of Amor is now finished! I was able to see it in the cinema at Nordic Film today, and it looked very good. The reel has now been delivered to The Film Institute, who will send it out into the wide world.

Amor was yesterday invited to its third festival, Valladolid International Film Festival in Spania, and will be shown there October 29, so it will be a busy month for the film.

More good news! Amor has now also been invited to Calgary International Film Festival in Canada, and we have just received word from The Norwegian Film Institute that they will cover the transfer of the film to 35 mm. We can't wait!

Amor has been invited to Ghent International Film Festival in Belgium. This is Belgiums largest and one of Europe's most important short film festivals, and we are, of course, very happy about the good news.
